Dolmabahce Palace-Located by the historically famous Bosphorus,is the last residence of the ottoman sultans, built in the nineteenth century in baroque style. It defines the enlightenment epoch of the Ottoman Empire. Its long facade of elegant white marble stretching along the Bosphorus, its handsome gardens and astounding interior decoration of priceless objects make the palace well worth a visit. Rumeli Castle. Located on the shores of the Bosphorus and built by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror for military purposes. The Castle was constructed within four months before the conquest of Constantinople.
